AVOCADO-CLUB is a place for a nutritious breakfast with coffee, for short lunch breaks and for relaxing dinner experiences with good wines and creative cocktails. AVOCADO-CLUB gives the green superfruit a home in Berlin-Mitte. All dishes are made with the avocado as main or at least supporting ingredient. It can be combined in many ways, whether as a spread with tahini or horseadish in sandwiches, in the dough for waffles and pancakes, in soups, in ravioli fillings, with mashed potatoes with steak or salmon fillet and in desserts. It is also part of some drinks such as smoothies, coffee and cocktails. Everything is homemade and cook with love.
SUSTAINABILITY
AVOCADO CLUB uses only sustainable avocados, which are grown under fair working conditions. The supplier Nature's Pride obtains the fruit from selected farmers from Chile, Peru, Mexico and Israel. Farmers must meet certain criteria when growing the avocado in order to be taken into account. Selection criteria are sustainable water management and local climatic conditions. Many producers benefit from the high rainfall, so additional irrigation is not necessary. If there is unexpectedly less rain, the avocado trees are irrigated with the help of the sustainable drip irrigation system. AVOCADO CLUB also make sure that all parts of the avocado are used. The core is used to prepare for teas or smoothies. The shell will be passed on to partners, who naturally dye textiles.
